"Really nice and quiet neighbourhood with all the essential shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within 5 mins walk. St Malo (Intra Muros) is about 30-40 mins walk away or 10 mins by bicycle. It is perfect for a stay in St Malo, especially if you don't need a beach on your doorstep. There is one dedicated, private parking space for the apartment within the grounds of the building, Otherwise, free parking on road in front of building, although spaces not guaranteed. The apartment itself is period style (i.e not 'modern'), which adds to its charm. There is a balcony. 1 bedroom is fine for 2 people but a bit more cramped for 4 (sofa bed in living/dining room). All the amenities working well - washing machine, dishwasher, etc... I was there for 2 weeks and I needed nothing - other than food and cooking ingredients."

"It is on the top (3rd floor) in a building with no elevators. Not a problem for me but be aware if mobility issues or carrying heavy bags. The pillows are absolutely hopeless; I have eaten galettes that are fatter than these pillows!!! Please get some new pillows (owner) or guests should bring their own. The Interhome agency gives you a folder with all the instructions in different languages, and the instructions include what to do at the end of the stay. Very good. However, instructions include putting the crockery and cutlery back in the cupboard and the dirty linen in the plastic bag provided. It would be helpful to get a REMINDER one day before about this, because it is easy to forget. Most places I stay at AB&Bs or other short-term rentals do not insist on this and it's been fine by the owners for 20 years+. I left the apartment clean and tidy and linen in the bathroom and the dish washer was still finishing the last cycle when I left the apartment at 10. The receptionist at the Interhome office said that was not good enough and I should have followed instructions. She said I should not expect the cleaning person or the next renter to do this!!! What kind of service does Interhome thinks it should be providing?? OK, at least send a reminder because the booklet has many pages and these details can be missed or forgotten."

"A quaint, traditionally furnished apartment, very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and free parking. Well located for plage des bas Sablons and plage de Solidor and the restaurants there. St Malo is a long walk."

"No WiFi which it does state on the details - a modem can be rented for silly money ; a bad policy. I failed to read the 'small print' and there were NO towels ; again, a bad policy. It was ok for us but it's on the third floor with no lift."
